IRUDIKA CALLS
Exceptionally, and due to the COVID 19 health crisis, we have had to suspend the Irudika 2021 Residences, creating in turn a new model of virtual residence, called Immersions 2021, with the aim of finding the image of Irudika 2021. To do so, we joined forces with the National Institute of Visual Arts of Uruguay, from where Irudika, as an event of interest, has been invited to represent Spain and the Basque Country within the 7th Uruguayan Illustration Prize.
To this end, within the three 2021 competitions, we have created two Accesit prizes worth 1,000 euros each, which will enable an author from the Basque Country and an author from the whole of Spain to represent Irudika in the next Catalogue of the 7th Uruguayan Illustration Prize. In addition, one of these two people will be commissioned, together with an author from Uruguay, to create the image of Irudika 2021, participating in Immersions, with a prize of 2,000 euros for both artists.
