Yan Cordeau has a unique vision. An art and creative director by trade, Yan has developed a network of artists and creators from around the world that he collaborates with to create one of a kind projects. His eclectic street style and contemporary influences are definitive markers in his practice, owing to his keen eye and constant research. A background in Interactive Media, Yan began his career as a designer for the Cirque du Soleil Marketing Department, where he remained for the better part of a decade. During his work with the Cirque, Yan co-founded the SAFEWALLS project (recipient of the BOOMERANG 2011 Art and Culture prize and the 2012 Grafika Grand Prize). In 2012, he became the co-founder and Creative Director of LNDMRK, an artistic marketing agency and production house. Simultaneously co-founding The MURAL Festival (Winner of the Grand Prix du Tourisme, 2014 & 2016), an international public art event, shaping the visual landscape of Montreal.
